Hello all,
Thanks to all who went to the choir concert this last Sunday. It was quite a performance.
This Sunday (4-3-11), we will be writing letters and/or drawing pictures for US Armed Forces personnel. Also, we can send them things they would like.
If you are willing and able, please bring to class this Sunday (sorry for the late notice):
1. Stationary for letters/pictures (for own student and/or others; we prob. won't use it all)
2. One or more of the following items: pudding cups,poptarts,granola bars, peanut butter, cheese crackers, candy bars, baby wipes.
Mrs. [CRE], "So I am also asking the children to give up a treat and then use that money to buy one of the items noted above. ... I am hoping that this project will allow the children to share more fully in the Lenten Journey while also demonstrating to all of us that the efforts of children do much to deepen our own spirituality during the season of pilgrimage."
As far as visiting the Little Sisters of the Poor, how is 4-10-11 (we will go to their mass at 10:30)? If not, we can always go after school ends (last day 5-15-11). All the other days are no school and/or an event. Please let me know.
